Funded by Makum Development Foundation , EDO distributed(100)  cartons of dates targeting (100) affected and displaced families as part of the Ramadan welfare projects and programs implemented by the organization since the founding.

Yasser Sinan, director of the EDO, said that” the date distribution project is part of the active partnership between Makum Development Foundation (mdf )and EDO to alleviate the suffering of poor families and provide the most basic needs in the holy month of Ramadan”

Sinan added that “Many families suffer from their inability to provide food, health and other food due to difficult living conditions and the lack of a source of income for these families to stop the salaries of employees as well as lay off workers by commercial and industrial companies due to the economic stagnation caused by the war in the Republic of Yemen in general and particularly in Taiz governorate”
