On Wednesday (June 7, 2017) Experts for Development Organization launched the hot Ramadan meals (Iftars) project for displaced people in Taiz governorate, where it distributed 55 hot meals to 55 displaced families in the districts of the city, which is suffering from difficult living conditions due to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the governorate since the beginning of the war. Mr. Yasser Sinan, Director of the EDO explained that the project will target more numbers in the coming days and will target more groups of displaced and affected people, poor families and orphan families. Pointing out that the project aims to alleviate the suffering of the target families and provide them with the most basic needs in the holy month of Ramadan, namely Iftar and dinner.
“Many displaced families suffer from their inability to provide the most basic necessities of life, and unfortunately they are not targeted in charitable projects” Mr. Yasser Sinan said.
