With funding from the Pure Hands Organization and in coordination with the Planning and International Cooperation Office in Taiz Governorate, and within the Ramadan projects, the Experts Organization for Development implemented the Ramadan Food Basket project for the poorest families in Al-Silw District, Taiz Governorate, for (150) food baskets targeting (150) families from the most needy segments of women Widows, orphans, displaced and affected families, at the rate of one basket per family

The project was implemented during the period (May 8 – May 12, 2021 AD) and targeted the villages of (Mathanan – Al-Hajja – Al-Nakhilah – Al-Qubeiba), in which the citizens suffer from their inability to provide for their food needs due to poverty, difficult economic conditions, the significant rise in food prices and the lack of job opportunities

The project contributed to enhancing and improving the level of food security for beneficiary families and contributed to strengthening their resilience to face emergency situations during Ramadan and to secure decent and safe living conditions that preserve their dignity and meet their necessary needs by providing basic foodstuffs.
