In partnership with Swaki Development Organization, Experts for development Organization concluded the cholera awareness project in Jabal Habashi district – Taiz, where the project targeted more than 4,200 students.

The director of EDO Yasser Sinan said that” The organization targeted five schools in the district of Jabal Habashi and made awareness for about 4,200 students  as follows: (Green Mountain School 1150 students – July 7 school 465 students – Al-Dia School 680 students – Al-Rasheed School 1052 students – Al-Nahda School 850 students), as the campaign targeted students of the basic and secondary levels in all schools targeted by the awareness team during the period 1/12/2016 to 24/12/2016″

Yasser Sinan added that” The campaign aims to raise awareness of the cholera epidemic and to raise awareness of it and its symptoms and how to move it and prevent it, as well as include awareness of personal hygiene methods, washing hands in a proper and healthy manner and other health guidelines. This was explained through awareness events and brochures that have been distributed to all targeted students in the district”

The director of the EDO explained that” The awareness campaign is carried out in coordination with the department of the Health Office in Jabal Habashi district and through a specialized health staff”

EDO attaches great importance to health, awareness and education, especially in light of the spread of epidemics and fevers that have threatened society and killed dozens of people.
