Under the auspices of Dr. Amin Mahmoud, Governor of Taiz governorate, Chairman of the Local Council. Dr. Abdul Hakim Aoun, Deputy Governor of the governorate, launched the Ramadan Training Program “Self-Development” implemented by EDO in partnership with the General Department of Research and Training in the provincial office as part of the organization’s 2018 plan for the training and rehabilitation unit.

Deputy Governor Dr. Abdul Hakim Aoun highly estimated the efforts of Experts for Development Organization in implementing programs aimed at training and qualifying young people as well as serving the community, calling for a focus on qualitative and specialized programs that meet the needs of reality and support the vision and aspirations of the people of the governorate.

The Director of the General Department of Research and Training of the Provincial Bureau explained that the training program, which is implemented in partnership with EDO, aims to improve performance and develop the self-leadership skills of employees and young people.

It is worth mentioning that EDO will launch the first workshop on Monday on the role of civil society organizations and activists in combating gender-based violence carried out by the organization in Taiz governorate in partnership with the Yemeni Women Union and with the support of UNFPA.
