We save by relief.
Water crisis in the city of Taiz / Yemen
With the start of the conflict in Yemen in 2015, the city of Taiz was strongly affected by the results of that conflict, and the city was divided into two parts.
One part follows legitimacy, and another important part falls under the control of the other party, or the so-called Ansar Allah Houthis, which cut off the drinking water supply that used to come from underground wells that are now under the control of the other party (the Al-Hawjala area, that water used to flow into the tanks of the General Corporation for Water and Sanitation). Which, in turn, was working to redistribute that water to all residents and buildings of Taiz Governorate that benefited from that service
Consequently, this institution became completely empty and unable to meet the population’s drinking water needs
Water Relief Project
Since its founding, the Experts Organization for Development has worked in accordance with the emergency response, as well as the rapid green response, and in accordance with the International Water Covenant, the Climate Action Charter, and the Sandy Framework. The Experts Organization for Development has worked to provide all humanitarian relief work, and its first project was based on providing water-food relief and water relief. Work on the water relief project has continued. Without any interruption, and it is still continuing until the present moment, which is represented in:-

Project: Education for Water
The Experts for Development Organization has formed a water philosophy: It is based on the fact that no matter how successful policies, programs or laws governing and rationalizing water consumption are, they face a large gap. represented by the high rates of population growth, which means a high average daily need for water, which may exceed the quantities of water that were provided through Governance and rationalization, as water-based investment activities are also growing steadily, or rising. Only the building and construction sector alone may be a decisive factor, especially when we know that one 50kg bag of cement requires 100 liters of water to take the final form that makes up those buildings and facilities.
Accordingly, our water philosophy is based on the importance of focusing in all our work and water projects. It must be at the heart of developing renewable water resources, that is, we must focus on how to raise the productivity of these renewable natural water resources, and this concept may go beyond concepts of protection or concepts of preservation and maintenance of that very important resource. Which is included in all the different components and areas of life
As a result of our knowledge that water is only one of the components of the ecosystem or ecosystem consisting of (water – soil – plants) animals (fish – birds – wild animals) in addition to livestock, it was necessary to pay greater attention to ecology because ecosystems work. As a whole, it operates according to one system that cannot be separated or divided.
Water is based of peace
Experts Organization for Development, which was the pioneer and remains the first organization in Yemen in the field of water relief for peace.
It declares its absolute support for the human right to water and respects the rights of future generations of water. Therefore, the Experts for Development Organization announces its water philosophy based on the administrative approach to the water cycle, which is based on a production approach that works to develop the productivity of renewable natural water resources, meaning there must be peace, twinning, education and cooperation in order to Managing and developing renewable natural water resources that are capable of growth and renewal in exchange for our attention to each ecosystem or ecosystem (water – soil – plants – animals)
We once again declare our commitment to ending the suffering of women, who suffer greatly from the consequences of fetching water despite the intimate. relationship between women and water, which is the source of life for all future children.
So we had to answer.
To work to provide water to women and to do so in dignity
And to provide water to children in dignity.
A dignity that saves face for all those deprived of fresh and clean drinking water.
Dignity for the marginalized, refugees, migrants and displaced people.
Therefore, we at the Experts for Development Organization affirm that there must be an educational approach that is capable of leading administrative approaches and productive approaches for all renewable natural water resources, and it is an approach capable of building sustainable peacemaking through which just and equitable prosperity and well-being can be seen.
The Experts for Development Organization also announces its rapid green response and its commitment to the Climate Action Charter, considering afforestation or nature
It is the basic solution even in the development of renewable natural water resources. We declare our commitment to the International Covenant on All Economic, Cultural, Social, Political and Civil Rights and our commitment to international law, considering the Sandy framework the logical framework for all our ongoing climate action.
