with the support of Pure Hands Organization and Supervision of the Office of Education in the governorate of Taiz , Experts for Development Organization,, in coordination with the education sub-cluster,, launched disbursement in the project of cash assistance to volunteer teachers (non-wage contractors) that targeted 183 volunteer teachers of both sex , in 26 schools at the district of Al-Salu in the governorate of Taiz.

The project coordinator said ” The project would contribute to supporting the continuity of school education in war-affected areas and the promotion of children’s access to a well-educated, comprehensive and uninterrupted education system in line with the goal of Education cluster No. 2 of 2022″

The project coordinator noted that the financial aid delivery mechanism was done through the disbursement of funds through direct cash transfers to the beneficiaries through the (m floos wallet ) service of the bank of kuraimi , after verifying the data through multiple points that were distributed in a number of safe areas of the district to facilitate the receiving process.

Mr. AbdulbaqiAl-Hareebi, Director of Education Directorate in AlSalu district estimated the efforts of Pure Hands and EDO organizations, stressing that the project is one of the leading educational projects that the district lacks as being among the war and siege affected districts .

The director of the education directorate noted that it is for the first time, volunteers were targeted by a large number not previously received, as 183 teachers were targeted from 26 schools.
